While many of our researched, and formally-reported ‘political’ activities are designed with improving professional understanding of what it is like to live with a mental health condition – we also express our ‘collective voice’ in other, more creative ways.

We hold regular writing groups, participate in art and crafts activities, perform music and drama, make short films, take photographs – and involve ourselves in the annual national Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival. Working together to make creative statements about ourselves and our lives can have very powerful effect on public perceptions, opinions and understanding.
